The fashionista in me is a BIG fan of the Who Wore it Better? Segments of tacky celebrity gossip magazines such as US and People. It’s even more funny when two women wear the same dress to the same event.

Last week, my girl Allie and I met up at Woodfield because she had FOUND OUR BRIDESMAID DRESSES for her wedding.

The bridesmaid dress is ever-important, because everyone wants to look fabulous when they’re standing in front of hundreds of people.

Um. Ew.

Bridesmaid dresses have come a long way. Nobody wants to look like these fools above. Nobody wants to wear an ugly brown floor-length dress that will forever lie in the back of their closet.

I was lucky to have a fashion designer mom who created all of my formal dresses for high school dances such as Homecoming, Turnabout, and Prom. I say lucky, because that meant I spent very little in comparison to the other girls and had something perfectly tailored to my tastes. ESPECIALLY since I NEVER WORE THOSE DRESSES AGAIN.

That said, when Allie texted me telling me she found THE DRESS, I was a little hesitant. Of course I trust her judgment, but I didn’t want to have to tell her I hated it. I would have if I did, but I didn’t WANT to.

And I didn’t.

I saw the photo online at the Cache website, and was like, “Hm…okay.”

Then we met up on Monday, and when I PUT IT ON, it was like, “BAM!”

Who wore it better?

I’m not even going to put up a voting poll. I THINK WE KNOW WHO WINS.

So excited for the wedding! We are all gonna look amazing; the dress is very figure-flattering on all us ladies. And it IS a dress I WILL WEAR AGAIN.
